Floral Bowl, Blue & Black

A deep bowl with five rounded petals, formed by hand from marbled coloured clay. The dark lines and blue flecks aren't applied to the surface — they run through the whole wall, following the curve of each petal outward like grain in a cut plank. Every bowl comes out differently: the density of the lines, where the blue lands, how the petals meet.
