So glad you're here!

I'm Philipp, I work in my little pottery located directly at the Isar river. I make functional and decorative pottery using the Neriage and Nerikomi techniques to create beautiful patterns and textures.

During my architectural studies, I developed a preference for small-scale designs.  I dedicated part of my studies to furniture and wood design as well as photography. Inspired by the craft, I finally had the opportunity to work with clay on a wheel for the first time. What luck, working with clay has captivated me ever since, nothing has fulfilled me more.

After completing my Master of Arts and a few years working in architecture, I was finally confident enough to make pottery my profession and to take a big chance.

I moved out of the city of Munich to the countryside (2021) and started there my pottery.

Now I live near Bad Tölz in the middle of the forest and right next to the Isar, surrounded by beautiful nature, where I can devote myself to my art without distraction. My small pottery is much more than a workplace for me today, it is my retreat, i really enjoy being able to make my ceramics there. I hope that my works can convey this feeling.

I CONCENTRATE ON NERIKOMI AND NERIAGE AND DEVELOP INDIVIDUAL PIECES THAT ARE VERY DELICATE AND YET REMAIN USABLE.

You can find my online store here, store updates are announced via my Instagram account.

My social media account gives you an insight into my studio, the production process of my ceramics, my everyday life and my work in nature. Would be nice to meet you there too!
